Palermo travel guide

Palermo layers Arab-Norman monuments, Baroque streets and a strong market-food culture around the Cassaro and Kalsa.

When to visit Palermo

April–June and September–October are comfortable for longer walks; July–August can be hot, and winter brings shorter sightseeing days.
